Smarter Water was the smartest choice we ever made! We have the Whole Home Filtration System and added a RO unit at kitchen sink. We had a great experience working with this company on upgrading our well water system. We switched to a hydrogen peroxide filtration system along with reverse osmosis for our drinking water, and the difference has been fantastic.

I had a Pelican no salt water softener. Very expensive and didn't soften the water. 2 yrs ago I called smarter Water and the owner did maintenance on my pelican water softener. But still I was unhappy with the results. I called him and asked what was the best way to get softer water. He recommended a salt softener tank and added it to my pelican carbon tank. I've been very happy since. Today he did maintenance and tested the water and said that it's been working very well. I highly recommend Smater Water he is honest and dependable.

Our old R.O. system was leaking & in need of all new filters. A good friend recommended Smarter Water. They were totally willing to attempt a repair on my old system. After my reevaluation of the likely cost to repair old RO system & talking with Erik at Smarter Water, I decided to replace old tanked system with the new tankless system. There was NO pressured sales. They were totally willing to work with what was best for me, under my circumstances. Their response was quick and every question & concern was promptly addressed via text & phone conversations.
The installer was fantastic. Installation was seamless. At this point I am 💯 % satisfied with my new tankless RO system and, 💯 % satisfied with my experience with Smarter Water.
They also checked out my softner & whole house charcoal filtration system.

We were unhappy with the look, taste and cleaning effectiveness of our water and after doing research we selected several water treatment companies to give us information. In the end we decided to use SmarterWater in Zephyrhills. Erik, the owner of the company was very knowledgeable and provided us with great service at a reasonable price. The equipment he installed is giving us a much improved water experience - cleaner laundry, softer showers, great tasting water and much less staining on fixtures. Our old system required quarterly servicing but now we can easily do most of the maintenance ourselves. Erik has been very prompt at answering any questions we have had. We're very happy with this company!!

!!1 Year Later Still Perfect!!
I got my water softener system installed by Erik G. back in October 2024. I did a lot of research and got quotes from a few big and local companies, but Erik offered the most affordable rate with a great system. He came by, explained everything clearly and helped with financing. After a full year of use, I’ve had zero issues so far, and Erik is always quick to respond by text whenever I have questions. Highly recommend him and his company :)

Many of the vendor bids included similar capabilities if not quality. What stood out to me was the in depth knowledge of the owner, Erik and his team, and the high level of professional service. What I needed and why was explained each step of the way. The bid included a custom system for my well and my water. The install was efficient and included a cleanup of some old portly run piping. I highly recommend Smart Water Company and Erik. I took quotes for water Softner system from couple of companies and decided to go with Smart Water as it was highly recommended by my neighbours and it was well priced. Scheduling and install was smooth, Erik added an additional box to speed up the drinking water flow. We had an issue a few days after the install and Erik came the next day to replace the part. Just bought new house and knew in the area I purchased we would definitely need water treatment. Did my research and called in 3 companies. Eric and Cory were definitely the right choice. They were knowledgeable, straight forward, realistic pricing and pure professionals. I had checked reviews on multiple sources and theirs were stellar. We booked with them and everything was perfect. Installer was so professional and left area clean. We Love our water! We look forward to our showers and cooking. We got a complete home system softener and filter as well as under sink drinking water system. We purchased a new home and wanted a whole house water softener and water purification system. I contacted a number of companies for pricing but only received 3 price quotes by phone as most needed to meet with me in person to give the estimate.

While on one hand it seems logical, (meeting in person to examine the housing situation) so that the water company can assess the situation, in reality it wasn’t really needed in our situation as we understood the value of a water softener system and purification system so it was unnecessary for us to be sold on the idea of having such a system.

When I contacted Erik with Smart Water Solutions he provided me a good price on the system over the phone, explained the particulars of the system he recommended and directed me to how other past customers felt about his services, (reviews)

Being a business owner myself customer reviews are an important litmus test on how the company will treat you as a customer.

Based on the number of 5 star reviews this company has a track record of taking care of their customers and doing the job right- here is my personal case in point.

We purchased new appliances from Best Buy and the installers were on site and had finalized the installation of a new washer and dryer right before Smart Water Solutions finished their work.

What we discover after only 5 minutes after the Best Buy technicians left is that they had not tightened the connections correctly on the washer and this caused a flood into my laundry room!

Although we did not hire Smart Water Solutions to be my on site plumbing expert to fix a problem caused by the Best Buy installers, that’s exactly what happened.

Erik fixed (despite not being hired to do this) the connection and this stopped the water leak due to the faulty installation by Best Buy.

In addition he fixed an error by my builder on my plumbing in the Kitchen sink!

And do you know what else was interesting about my experience with Erik?

He refused to take an extra payment that I insisted on giving them for their help.

Erik finally relented, but he gave the money I insisted that they take to his employee!

What does this show?

Smart Water Solutions goes above and beyond the call of duty!

What a wonderful company to deal with! So many water softener companies I called and that had quoted the system were so high pressure and wanted you to buy now! With Smarted Water Solutions there was no high pressure. Erik came out on a Saturday and reviewed where I wanted to place a softener. He gave me a fair price with no pressure. I just had SmartWater come to my home and asses my well system because I really had some nasty smelly water and had nasty bacteria that you can really see I met with Erik who helped me address the issues that were going on in my well, he was willing to work with what I had for a system and what needed to be added to it to achieve really clean drinking water I appreciate the fact he didn't try to up sell me like a lot of other companies who wanted to rip out the old system and put in a new one he knew exactly how to fix my issue without breaking the bank he was extremely kind and knowledgeable and gave me a lot of options to work within my budget I am extremely grateful that he worked within my budget it really helped me and my family a lot so if your thinking of getting better water for your home this is the company who you can trust to get better cleaner and healthier water without breaking the budget. PS: my water is finally clean and does not smell anymore I am so thankful to Erik and his team.

I love my new SmarterWater system. Erik helped me figure out exactly what I needed. I chose the High Performance two tank whole home system (carbon filtration and water softener). I also purchased the Tankless RO system. The communication, scheduling, and service are all excellent. Matt did an amazing job with the install. Erik Groenendijk (owner) and Gavin are absolutely the best! When we built our new home, the plumbers handled the pipe installation but lacked expertise in water treatment. Erik and Gavin stepped in to install our reverse osmosis system, which effectively removes contaminants like lead, pesticides, PFAs, and more.

We also purchase hydrogen peroxide for our water system from them. While we could buy it online, their pricing is competitive, and the service they provide is unmatched. With every delivery, they inspect and calibrate our equipment and test the water as needed. Their professionalism and attention to detail have earned our trust—we wouldn’t use anyone else for our water treatment needs!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Smarter Water! From start to finish, they went above and beyond to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. Eric was amazing—super knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about water softeners. He patiently walked me through all the options, so I felt really confident in my choice.

When it came to the installation, they initially used CPVC and SharkBite fittings, which looked fine, but I mentioned I’d prefer PEX to match the rest of the plumbing. Eric didn’t hesitate for a second! He arranged for Gavin to come back and re-plumb everything with PEX, and they did it so quickly. The final setup looks absolutely fantastic!

Erik from Smart Water Solutions is very professional, he listen to my needs, answer my questions and gave me a good deal for the system which it comes with a lifetime warranty. I choose the water softener and the whole house carbon filtration system. Now I understand why others like this combination, the water tastes incredible good and it feels a lot more soft on your skin. I like also the way you can control the system from your phone, it’s very convenience and it gives you all the data in real time. I didn’t have a loop so I gave the kudos to the installer who create one outside my garage and underground, this allows me to save space in my garage and to protect my water lines from any potential damage.
I Really recommend them for your whole house water system, believe me, you won’t be disappointed.
